Ikingo Gombo joined Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) in January 2006, as an Accounts Payables Officer then as an Assistant to Management Accountant – he then occupied a number of other posts within the Finance department namely, Management Accountant, Chief Accountant, Senior Manager for Finance and Supply Chain where he was managing the Finance and Supply Chain functions at GGM and now the Director – Finance Business Partnership following the restructuring happening within the organisation. He is a member of the GGML Board, Executive Committee (ExCom), Audit Committee as well as Management Committee (ManCom) of GGM.

He is passionate about Finances and Accounting in the Mining Industry where he leads the Finance stream looking at the financial management and reporting side of it including advising the business of viable options in order to generate cashflows and then be able to return back the wealth to the shareholders.

Ikingo has commendable experience in Finances and Accounting of the mining industry for the 19 years that he has spent in the gold mining company – GGM in this context. He joined the mining industry straight after completion of his professional qualification in Dec 2005. Thus, his knowledge and experience have been built from and by this company and therefore he does have much respect to this company.

Ikingo is an Associate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) and holds an MBA from ESAMI – The Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute, Arusha – Tanzania, 2013.
