emerged winner in three key categories and overall best
performer of the mining sector for the financial year 2019/2020
at awards given by the Government during the annual Tanzania
Mineral and Mining Investment Conference at the Julius Nyerere
International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam.

Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) has rolled out a series of interventions and campaigns across its site and in the surrounding communities in the effort to stop the spread of Covid-19.
As part of its contribution to the government’s effort to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, Geita Gold Mining Limited has donated 10 tanks with the capacity of 1000 liters each for public hand washing in various parts of Geita Town. GGML will also provide chlorine which will replace liquid soap at the facilities.
In an effort to upskill current employees on business management, GGML has entered into a partnership with the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI). The Institute will be responsible for the facilitation and execution of the Executive Business Management programme.
