Advancing Health Awareness and Well-Being for Girls and Young Women

Earlier this week, Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) launched its 2026 Menstrual Hygiene and Reproductive Health Campaign, reinforcing our commitment to supporting adolescent girls through education, awareness, and practical support.

The campaign brings together students, educators, health professionals, and community stakeholders to promote open conversations around menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and girls’ well-being.

Through awareness sessions and practical learning, young people are equipped with knowledge that supports healthy choices, confidence, and continued participation in school and community life.

At GGML, we believe that improving access to health information and breaking stigma around menstrual and reproductive health are important steps toward empowering young women and building stronger communities.

We thank our partners, schools, health teams, and local leaders for supporting this important initiative.
