Over the past few weeks, field students from different universities and disciplines have joined our teams on-site as part of their academic programmes. Their time with us offers an important opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experience, while gaining practical skills and exposure that will support their future careers.
Hosting field students reflects Geita Gold Mining Limited’s continued commitment to developing young Tanzanian talent. By opening our operations to students from different disciplines, we are helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and the practical experience needed to build confident, capable professionals.
During their time at Geita, the students are gaining exposure to real workplace environments, learning from experienced professionals and seeing first-hand how different disciplines work together within a large-scale mining operation.
