Building Skills and Opportunities for Tanzania’s Future Workforce

Recently, Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) celebrated the completion of its annual Graduate Trainee and Critical Skills Programme, an initiative focused on building Tanzanian talent and strengthening employability.

Over the past year, 35 graduates gained hands-on experience across key areas of large-scale mining operations, including geology, engineering, surveying, metallurgy, mine planning, and records management.

The programme helps equip young professionals with practical skills needed in Tanzania’s growing economy while contributing to the development of a skilled national workforce.

GGML congratulates the 2025/2026 cohort on their achievement and wishes them continued success in their professional journeys.
