Delta Kisanga’s career journey is a reminder that growth does not always follow a straight line.
She joined the business as an intern and has since built her career in logistics and supply chain management, drawing on a background in engineering and industrial management. Looking back, Delta says the early months taught her the value of curiosity, discipline and strong professional relationships.
“I would advise my younger self to ask more questions, master even the smallest tasks, and build strong relationships with mentors and peers.”
Her journey has also shaped how she thinks about career choices. “Letting a rigid degree title dictate your career path can limit your true potential,” she says.
Today, Delta applies systems thinking and bottleneck analysis to the complex world of logistics.
“Logistics requires you to optimise an invisible, moving machine, one woven from data, global supply chains and human behaviour.”
For Delta, the lesson is clear: adaptability, transferable skills and a willingness to keep learning can open doors far beyond the title of a degree.
