Employees proudly represented Geita Gold Mining Limited at the 2026 NBC Dodoma Marathon in Dodoma, where the company also participated as a sponsor.
Duan Campbell, Director – Full Asset Potential, joined colleagues on the course, demonstrating the importance of leading by example and staying active. The event brought together thousands of runners around a shared purpose: using sport to support maternal and child health, pediatric heart surgery, and bone marrow transplant services for children living with sickle cell disease.
For our team, the marathon was also an opportunity to promote health and well-being, strengthen teamwork, and connect with colleagues beyond the workplace. Our participation reflected the belief that a healthy workforce is stronger, safer and more engaged.
