Road safety is not a lesson we learn once. It is a responsibility we must keep reinforcing.
Last week, our Road Safety Campaign returned to the Geita community, engaging motorcycle and tricycle drivers alongside students on practical actions that can help keep everyone safer on the road.

The sessions covered critical road safety practices, from staying alert and making responsible choices to understanding how to respond when something goes wrong. Participants also took part in a practical demonstration on the correct use of fire extinguishers, while reflective vests were distributed to help improve the visibility of riders on the road.
With recent road accidents reminding us how quickly an ordinary journey can change, these conversations remain important.

As our Safety & ERT Manager, Isack Senya, recently reminded us, “Don’t walk past an unsafe act.” Every lesson shared, safe choice made, and person who looks out for another strengthens the safety culture we want across Geita.
Because everyone deserves to arrive safely.
