The 9th National Mining Technology Exhibition came to a close over the weekend, marking the end of a week that brought together government, mining companies, innovators, suppliers and communities in Geita.
Closing the exhibition on behalf of President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba called for continued collaboration and responsible management of Tanzania’s mineral resources to support the ambitions of National Development Vision 2050.
This year’s exhibition attracted 765 participants, including 15 mining companies, while 4,418 people accessed services offered by participating institutions.
For GGM, the Expo was an opportunity to share our story, exchange knowledge and connect with the people and partners who shape our industry and community. Our Managing Director, Ashraf Suryaningrat, reaffirmed our commitment to supporting the growth of Tanzania’s mining sector, including developing the skills needed for modern mining.
