The investment responds to a wider challenge across Tanzania, where public primary schools had an average of 75 pupils per classroom in 2023, according to the World Bank.

It is a practical investment in SDG 4 – Quality Education, and in our continued commitment to expanding access to better learning environments in our host communities.
